Summary
The Work Products module helps you compile QCTO work product packs โ guided bundles of required attachments for a qualification or project. You pick a pack, the wizard walks you through each required item, you attach evidence, and you end up with a complete, structured submission. This guide shows how to build a pack from start to finish.
Who This Guide Is For
- SDP admins and coordinators preparing QCTO submissions
- Facilitators assembling project or work-product evidence
- Anyone who needs a consistent, checklist-driven evidence bundle
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have:
- An SDP or admin account with work-products access
- The evidence files the pack requires (ready to upload)
- The relevant learner, project, or qualification details
- An understanding of what the QCTO pack must contain
Step 1: Open Work Products
Navigate to Work Products โ Overview.
Youโll see the available packs, each showing its title, description, and the number of required attachments. Pick the pack that matches what youโre compiling.
Tip: Gather your attachments before you start the wizard. Having every file ready means you can complete a pack in one sitting.
Step 2: Open a Pack
Click a pack to launch the Work Product Wizard. The wizard lays out each required item so you know exactly whatโs expected before you begin.
Step 3: Work Through the Wizard
Follow the wizard step by step:
- Read what each step requires
- Attach the matching evidence file
- Add any notes or context requested
- Move to the next step
The wizard tracks your progress so you can see whatโs done and whatโs outstanding.
Step 4: Attach Required Evidence
For each required attachment, upload the correct file. The pack defines which attachments are mandatory, so you canโt accidentally leave a required item blank without noticing.
Step 5: Review and Complete the Pack
Before finishing, review every step to confirm all required attachments are present and correct. A complete pack gives you a consistent bundle ready for QCTO submission or internal QA.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Wrong pack: Confirm the pack matches the qualification or project before starting.
- Missing attachments: Check the required-attachment count is fully satisfied.
- Unlabelled files: Use clear filenames so reviewers can identify each item.
- Stopping mid-wizard: Finish in one session where possible to avoid partial packs.
Verification Checklist
Before submitting, verify:
- The correct pack is selected
- Every required attachment is uploaded
- Each stepโs notes are complete
- Filenames clearly identify each piece of evidence
- The pack shows as complete
